21 aug 2019 PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE and THE WHISTLERS on this year’s EFA Feature Film Selection

Cannes Best Screenplay winner PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE by Céline Sciamma and Corneliu Porumboiu’s THE WHISTLERS make it into this year’s European Film Awards (EFA) Feature Film Selection, the list of feature-length fiction films recommended for a nomination for the 2019 EFA.

The nominations are to be announced on November 9^th at the Seville European Film Festival in Spain. The 32^nd European Film Awards with the announcement of the winners is taking place on December 7^th in Berlin.
