Two-time Oscar nominee Colman Domingo (Disclosure Day), Golden Globe nominee Nicholas Hoult (Superman), Hamnet and A Quiet Place star Noah Jupe, and Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin (The Crown) are set to star in transgressive psychological thriller The Servant.
This is the next project for Ammonite and God’s Own Country writer-director Francis Lee and All Of Us Strangers and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri outfit Blueprint Pictures. Anatomy Of A Fall and Sentimental Value outfit Mk2 is dropping the project into the Cannes market where it’s handling international sales. The Servant is a psychological thriller set in 1950’s New York, “about Tony (Hoult), an entitled British man who moves into a beautiful apartment on Central Park and becomes embroiled in a wicked power play with his manservant, Barrett (Domingo).”
Mk2 has eleven films at this year’s Cannes festival, including Competition titles Gentle Monster (Marie Kreutzer), The Birthday Party (Léa Mysius), Minotaur (Andrey Zvyagintsev), The Man I Love (Ira Sachs), and Nagi Notes (Koji Fukada).
