mk2 films proudly represents four films premiering in their new restoration in the Venice Classics selection at the 80th Biennale:

 

THE CREATURES  by Agnès Varda

New 4K restoration 4K curated by Cine-Tamaris and the CNC, with the support of She Echoes and Chanel.

DEEP CRIMSON – DIRECTOR’S CUT by Arturo Ripstein
“A strange and deeply twisted romance which never strays from its uncompromising vision.” Los Angeles Times

This new Director’s Cut adds some 25 savage minutes to the original cut and has been restored and digitized in 4K from the original 35mm negative in Mexico by la Cineteca Nacional, IMCINE and the Churubusco Studios.
