Italian film director Vittorio Taviani passed away on april 15th 2018.

He co-directed with his brother Paolo some of the greatest masterpieces of Italian cinema, such as Padre Padrone (Cannes 1977, Golden Palm), The Night of San Lorenzo (Cannes 1982, Jury Special, Grand Prix) and Wondrous Boccacio (2015).
