An old apartment in the charming Mouffetard district of Paris houses a grand mother and her three young grand-daughters, Juliette 14, Delphine 16, and Pauline who is in charge of the others. She gives the impression of being made out of steel, but be hind this image lies a woman’s heart. But then there is also Pauline’s father, the devastatingly charming Victor Valance. After making occasional irregular appearances during Pauline’s childhood, he now comes back to settle in France after 15 years o f mysterious activities abroad. He wants to start up a casino, but first needs to sell the family treasures to raise the money. A very peculiar struggle develops between father end daughter but ends up revealing their true characters and the start of a real understanding begins.
