« Love is the unchanging axis on which the World revolves » states the preface. Three examples – from the Stone Age, the Roman Age, and the Modern Age of 1920s America – illustrate this by showing how a young man manages to win his beloved’s heart in the face of a formidable rival.

Restored by Lobster Films in collaboration with Blackhawk Films, from a 35mm safety fine grain in the Blackhawk Films Collection (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), and a partially decomposed Russian nitrate print from the B negative (Cinémathèque de Toulouse).

Available in 2k, new score by the Mont Alto Orchestra & Rodney Sauer
