François Veber is a particularly clumsy electrician, with a passion for theater. He decides to leave his wife to join Marguerite Balicourt’s tour. When he then goes off to study theater, he discovers his talent for comedy. Admitted to the National Comedy School, his true talent is revealed as he plays the part of Scapin, the main character in Molière’s comedy Les Fourberies de Scapin.
