Sara Forestier’s first feature M receives 3 awards in Venice:

 

The Europa Cinemas Label Award for Best European Film in Venice Days

“A charming representation of the relationship between two people scarred by life (…) A film with the potential to reach out and touch young audiences”

The film will get promotional support from Europa Cinemas and a financial incentive for network cinemas to include it in their programming

 

Two Fedeora Awards (Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean)

Best Young Director Sara Forestier

“For the simplicity, warmth and courage with which she depicts the obstacles of a difficult, unique and empowering love story”

Best Actor Redouanne Harjane
