Khorshid, a blind 10-year-old boy, lives alone with his mother in a little town of Tadjikistan. Thanks to his very sharp hearing, he works as a tuner of traditional music instruments. His father has gone to Russia, his mother lives on fishing. He takes the bus everyday to go to work, but sometimes, on the way, a conversation or a melody attracts his attention and he gets lost searching for the sounds. Meanwhile his boss and his young colleague, Nadereh, become impatient. Despite being warned by his boss, Khorshid continues to listen to the sounds of the city.
