1939 / animation / original title : BETTY BOOP / status : completed / short film / French catalog
Betty Boop appeared on the scene in 1930 with her provocative suspenders and her legendary Boop-Boop-a-Doop, to become the most famous pin-up in the history of animation. Having encountered a few censorship issues, her character progressively evolved over the course of time before finally vanishing from the scene in 1939. During a whole decade, Betty appeared in around a hundred films, some co-starring her friend Bimbo, the genius professor Grampy or her little dog Pudgy.
