Blaze is\u00a0her much\u00a0anticipated feature d\u00e9but, and will combine live action with VFX and stop-motion animation\u00a0techniques.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDel Kathryn Barton is such a visionary artist, whose unique style gives life to a radical and immersive modern fable. More relevant than ever, Blaze is an ode to women solidarity and courage, and we couldn\u2019t be more proud to share Barton\u2019s journey.\u201d said Fionnuala Jamison, mk2 films\u2019 Managing Director.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlaze\u201d is being produced by\u00a0Samantha Jennings of\u00a0Australia\u2019s\u00a0Causeway Films, which credits include Jennifer Kent\u2019s Venice Special Jury Prize winner\u00a0The Nightingale\u00a0and Sundance\u00a0The Babadook. Currently in post-production, the film will be delivered in S1 2022.<\/p>\n<p>mk2films will be presenting\u00a0the film,\u00a0produced with\u00a0major production investment from Screen Australia and financed in association with Screen NSW, Fin Design and Spectrum Films.
