He has assembled a happy team of regular partners in crime as he teams up again with co-scriptwriter Beno\u00eet Graffin (<em>In the Courtyard<\/em>, <em>Beautiful Lies<\/em>,<em> Priceless<\/em>), two-time BAFTA Awards-nominated Audrey Tautou (<em>Beautiful Lies<\/em>, <em>Priceless<\/em>) and Pio Marma\u00ef (<em>In the Courtyard<\/em>). Additions to the gang include rising star Ad\u00e8le Haenel, French comedy regular Vincent Elbaz and Damien Bonnard.<\/p>\n<p>The action takes place on the French Riviera where glamourous yet clumsy police lieutenant Yvonne (Haenel) lives alone with her young son. During a routine interrogation, when a facetious criminal recognizes the wedding ring on her finger as loot from a jewellery heist, she learns that her police chief husband, Santi, was in fact corrupt to the bone. Said husband died in the line of duty two years prior and has since been revered as a local hero, not least by the couple\u2019s young son. But because of Santi\u2019s corruption, the young and innocent Antoine (Marma\u00ef) has just spent 8 years in prison. And now out of the clink, he is having a great deal of trouble adjusting to normal life again, to say the least, despite the love and attention of his tender wife (Tautou). Yvonne is torn between revealing the awful truth or following her colleague Louis\u2019 advice (Bonnard) and keeping everything secret to protect her family. Meanwhile the very charming Antoine has blown a fuse, and is prone to spontaneous rants, and much worse. Yvonne attempts to make everything right in Antoine\u2019s life, but this will only lead to further trouble, especially when Louis\u2019 feelings for her come to the surface at the most inopportune moments&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis very witty, fast-paced romantic comedy with a glamourous and fresh cast promises both laughs and emotions, says Juliette Schrameck, mk2 films\u2019 Managing Director.
