Cinema has lost a poet, a storyteller, and a unique way of seeing the world. mk2 is deeply saddened by the news of the death of one of the world\u2019s greatest auteurs.<\/p>\n

For nearly twenty years, Marin Karmitz had the privilege of collaborating with Abbas Kiarostami while producing\u00a0The Wind Will Carry Us\u00a0(1999),\u00a0ABC Africa\u00a0(2001),\u00a0Ten\u00a0(2002),\u00a010 on Ten\u00a0(2004),\u00a0Certified Copy\u00a0(2010),\u00a0Like Someone in Love\u00a0(2012) and distributing\u00a0Five\u00a0(2004) and\u00a0Shirin\u00a0(2010) in France. mk2 had currently been working on the production of his next film in China.<\/p>\n
